Calamos is dedicated to helping our associates improve and maintain their health.

Insurance - Calamos offers a range of comprehensive coverage options. Eligible associates can enroll in medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance plans. Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts are also available.

Monthly Wellness Events - Calamos supports various monthly wellness events from health screenings and flu shots to relaxation and stress management seminars.

Physical Activity - Calamos encourages its associates to take advantage of its walking trails and fitness center.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - All associates are eligible to utilize this counseling and family assistance program at no cost. Workplace Solutions, EAP provider, offers many resources to help associates and their families overcome life's challenges.

Work Life Balance

Calamos provides solutions to help associates simplify their daily lives such as dry cleaning and car wash services, lactation room and expectant mother parking. Calamos believes in having fun with co-workers outside of work. We support various recreational sports teams like basketball, softball and foosball tournaments.

Training & Education

Calamos is committed to the professional development of all its associates. The company encourages associates to attend workshops and seminars offered through our in-house curriculum and through external firms. Calamos also assists associates with the payment of tuition and books for approved educational courses after one year of service with the company.

Paid Time Off

Vacation - All full-time associates are eligible for paid vacation.

Sick Days - Full-time associates are eligible for up to five sick days per calendar year.

Holiday Schedule - CALAMOS observes the same holiday schedule as the New York Stock Exchange, which typically includes the following as paid holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Retirement Savings

The Calamos Profit Sharing 401(k) Plan is designed to help associates achieve financial security for their retirement. The plan includes the following components.

401(k) - Calamos offers associates the option to contribute to traditional before tax 401(k) and Roth 401(k).

Company Match - The plan has a 50% match on deferrals of up to 6% of total compensation, or a maximum company contribution of 3% of total compensation.

Profit Sharing - Calamos associates are eligible for annual discretionary profit sharing contributions.
