Rob Damron

Senior Research Analyst

As a senior research analyst, Rob Damron’s responsibilities include identifying, recommending, and monitoring securities for our Calamos Timpani Team. Rob joined the firm in 2021 and contributes nearly 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Calamos, he worked at Baraboo Growth as a family office buy side equity analyst. Previously he served as a co-portfolio manager at 1492 Capital Management from 2008 to 2014 and as founder and president of 21st Century Equities from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, Rob was a sell side analyst with Southwest Securities from 2001 to 2003, Clearly Gull from 1996 to 2001, and McDonald & Company from 1992 to 1996. He holds an MBA from Cleveland State University and a BS in Finance from Miami University.
